Mitchell campaign heats up!

I received an email from the Harry Mitchell campaign today that indicates campaign activities are heating up. From the email:

Dear Friends,

Thank you for all of your help over the past few weeks! Our campaign is up and running and going very well. We are working hard, traveling all around the district to gather petition signatures and talk to voters. It’s clear that the voters of district five are ready for a change, and we continue to receive energetic support for our campaign.

The email goes on to note some key events and activities in the coming days, including:

Gathering petition signatures this Saturday!
We will be walking every Saturday at 9 am to collect signatures from voters throughout the district. We will meet at our headquarters, located at 115 E. Baseline (one the southeast corner of Mill and Baseline in the Mill Towne Center next to Tom’s BBQ). Office-Warming Party on Wednesday, May 24 – donations needed!
Our campaign headquarters is up and running! We are located at 115 E. Baseline. Please join us for an Office-Warming Party on Wednesday, May 24th from 5-7 pm. We will supply the cookies and punch, and we’re asking you to bring the office donations. We especially need shelves, cabinets, desks, tables, and everything from paper clips to pens. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated!
