Kolbe suggests Kyl's immigration proposal needs "dose of realism"

Retiring Rep. Jim Kolbe (AZ-8) comments on Kyl's "deport 'em all" approach. Kyl, evidently, needs a "dose of realism".

From my own comment on that thread:

Let me get this straight:

1. Kolbe says Kyl's approach needs a "dose of realism".

2. McCain says Kyl's approach "borders on fantasy".

3. Bush just came out today and called [Kyl's approach] "impractical".

4. In [Republican columnist Robert] Robb's column, where he's obviously doing his best to stick it to Pederson, he nevertheless concedes that Pederson's is the "wiser path" and "the more popular one".

And when Robb says that "Pederson derides as unworkable Kyl's proposal", Robb goes on to concede "perhaps so...".

Look, when even top elected Republicans and their key supporters in the media are agreeing with Pederson's approach, that, folks, is as definitive a statement as you will ever get in politics.

Pederson is right on this issue, Kyl is wrong, and even Kyl's staunchest partisan supporters are forced by common sense to admit it.

[Arizonans] that really want a real solution that will help our state, and not more of the same old B.S., need to elect someone who will bring realistic, constructive ideas to office.

Pederson. He's the constructive one.
